Its been one year since Jason asked me to marry him and once again he has taken my breath away. Jason is a wonderful, loving, generous man. This time next year we will be married. I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with Jason. When you see him be sure to give him a pat on the back for being so wonderful to me. I can not wait to be his wife. We are taking a vacation (much needed) very soon. I will update our website with any additional information I come across. August 16, 2008, its on. By the way Jason and I are planning on have a party after we get married, not a reception but more of a celebration for all to enjoy. This is for the family & friends that will not be able to make it to Jamaica. More details o follow. Take care and thanks for checking in!!

I just wanted to write and clear up any confusion about Jason and my upcoming wedding:
Jason and I are getting married in Jamaica because we crave the simplicity of a beach destination wedding. What this means is that there will not be a reception in St. Louis when we return from our honeymoon. We have struggled with this decision but we have decided that it is in the best interest of both Jason and me that there will only be one wedding and one reception and they will both be happening in Jamaica. At this point, the date is negotiable but we are aiming for August, 2008. We totally understand that having a destination wedding places certain restrictions on attendance, but as Jason and I have said many times we would prefer the beach wedding to the traditional wedding and while we would love for everyone to be there, we understand why some of you might not attend. We hope that you can be as happy about this wedding as we are and the last thing in the world that we want is to stir up trouble for anyone in either of our families. We cherish your opinions and love to learn your thoughts on many topics, but our minds and hearts are set on the decisions that we have made about this wedding and we wish not to be made to feel that we have excluded anyone or made anyone unhappy. We pray that everyone in attendance is able to think of this wedding as a vacation as well and we know that you will just love the location that we have picked. It is my dream that everyone is able to attend, but if you can not, please rest assured that you are in our thoughts.
